30-Day Fitness Health Challenge

Week 2 in summary

 

I lost another pound. Slow and steady wins the race.

B – Bible Study: It seems that no matter how many times I read my Bible it always feels like I’m reading it for the first time. Some passages that I may have read over in the past just resonate with me now. It’s true that His Word is living.
E – Eating Healthy: Spring and summer are the easiest seasons to make healthy changes to my food choices. I especially like the roadside stands that offer fresh vegetables like tomatoes and asparagus. I hope to visit the Farmer’s Market in my village on the weekends.
E – Exercise: I’ve started interval training – jogging for short bursts – during my daily walks. I’ve also increased the weights in my strength training routine.
P – Prayer: I love and appreciate that I have a Father that I can go to 24/7 who will comfort me and lift me up when I’m feeling low. He truly is my “forever friend”.
